At Florida Budo, we are committed to welcoming students of all ages and abilities into an ego-free environment, where the practice of traditional Japanese martial arts, including Samurai Sword Training, is paired with personal growth, discipline, and respect. Rooted in the samurai and ninja traditions of the Bujinkan Dojo, our training fosters resilience, balance, and self-defense skills — while always honoring the art’s deeper philosophy of mindfulness and integrity.
As an Instructor at Florida Budo, Sensei Victor Acebo draws on over four decades of dedicated training in traditional Japanese martial arts, including Samurai Sword Training, while holding a steadfast commitment to preserving the authentic lineage of the Bujinkan Dojo from Noda City, Japan.

My journey into martial arts began during my service in the United States Marine Corps. In 2015, I started training at a Bujinkan Dojo specializing in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, and today I hold the rank of Nidan (second-degree black belt). I’m honored to assist in leading classes under the guidance of my teacher, Sensei Victor Acebo, where we also incorporate elements of Samurai Sword Training.
